Stand out in the rain

Things just don't seem to let up.
One after the other things keep coming.
Stupid convocations.
Things that don't need to be heard.

Like the rain that falls.
It falls heavy and cold
It can be relieving to some.
Or it can be dreary and miserable.

This doesn't need to be finished.
Not unless everything lets up.
I know this won't, it's impossible.
So I'll stand out in the rain and let the falling water wash it all away.
